Mohamed & Nasro Sabul & Mohamed
Arrived in America, Nasra, from Somalia, in March 94 as a refugee from the civil war in Somalia, and Joseph, a Somali Kenyan, in December 2003 for school and work. They found each other, married for 16 years now.We have 6 beautiful kids, Sirad, our daughter, 15, and our son Abdirahim, 13, who are believers now, and in Jesus' name, they will do greater things for God, but the other older four children are still Muslims whom we are praying for to come to the knowledge of Christ. Please continue praying for our older kids, who we believe will one day come to the Fold and have their own testimonies. Therefore, in the last seven years, we became radical followers of the gospel, and one after the other, our lives changed. And from day one, we saw the urgency for the community not to miss God's salvation, wisdom, and reconciliation. We have experienced the devastation and the darkness, and not having a shepherd, we see the pain in the Somali community. The Somali youth is another category within the community who feel disconnected from the rest of the community and sought to substance abuse. We believe as a ministry of the Gospel to bring healing to broken marriages and young which are rampant.Somali community leaders are not led by the true living God to bring solutions to their urgent Spiritual need and enlightenment .We believe Somalis are under spiritual deception by the religion of Islam that all Somalis inherited.Nasra Father was killed in the civil war, and now as a child of God, she forgave her Father’s killer because Jesus said in Matthew 6:12 And forgiven us our debts,as we also have forgiven our debts Mathew 6:14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. I obeyed this verses as a new believer of Christ. God is calling us to share His living word with the Somali community how He can reconcile them through His grace to people who are still fighting after 40 years, He is our Hope. We also have heart of unifying the church, and seeing different nations worshipping God in spirit and in truth, by how much we love one another they will know us. In the midst of family, life and work, we began sharing this life changing message on social media and Somali people from around the world began responding.
- [ ] We do online outreach to Somali Muslims who listen from all around the world, and the ones who believe and some seekers, we do bible study and disciple as we send out the seeds. Recognizing the great need and hearing the call of God. Now, we are called to Minnesota since it is the largest Somali community in America, and I just want to be light and salt to our people who are hurting and perishing without the knowledge of God. Freely, we get freely; we want to give. Looking forward to meeting brothers and sisters from different Nations and Networking together, and God awakening the church.
